Abstract | One might think a large church would organize Sabbath morning "classes" for children with special needs, staff them with volunteer professionals trained in working with the children, and sit back and enjoy being large enough to have the resources to do so. Not Nassau Presbyterian Church in Princeton, New Jersey. Neither the theology nor the educational philosophy nor the practical experience allows the church to do so. This article features Nassau Presbyterian Church which is, in principle and in purpose, a "one kid at a time" church. (ERIC). |
