Abstract | The following paper presents the main evaluation instruments used in early intervention, and reflects upon their use, taking into account that they were created with and for the normal population. Likewise, developmental characteristics of some child groups are described, more notably the x fragile syndrome, Williams syndrome and Prader Willi syndrome. Subsequently, getting into the intervention itself, we describe the principal objectives to be pursued in programming each area of early intervention (motor, perceptive-cognitive, socio-communicative and personal autonomy). Finally, we include important reflections on the parents' role in the entire process, as well as some practical considerations when putting these programs into practice. (As Provided). |
