Abstract | The use of functional neuroimaging on patients with pediatric bipolar disorder finds that there is increased amygdala activation on this group when they are tasked to judge whether emotion in faces showing the same emotion were older or younger than 35 years. The right prefrontal systems also seem less engaged in patients with this disorder. (As Provided). |
