Abstract | This article outlines the experiences of Filipino Americans in early and secondary education. By recognizing the deficiencies in educational attainment of Filipino American youth, the article explores psychosocial factors that contribute to Filipino Americans' academic experiences. Recommendations are included for educators to provide a culturally-competent classroom for Filipino Americans. (As Provided). |
