Abstract | In recent years, the population of international faculty has increased on campuses across the United States. These international academics have become vital members of the institutional fabric through research, teaching, and service, yet they face numerous challenges as they adjust to an unfamiliar national and university culture. This article discusses the adjustment of international faculty scholars to the United States and makes suggestions for better addressing transition efforts. (ERIC). |
