Abstract | Historical thinking and historical analysis have become significant themes within the ranks of social studies educators. In this article, the author talks about the importance of teaching historical analysis and historical thinking using the Internet. He presents websites that both explain the two concepts and also provide lesson plans, activities, and other resources for classroom teachers, supervisors, and social studies method instructors. While the author does not think that historical thinking and historical analysis are a cure-all for the criticism of history education in the schools, utilizing some of the ideas and resources found on these websites might help heighten student interest and appreciation.
