Abstract	The health care skill gap is expected to worsen, but Career and Technical Education (CTE) is playing an integral part in preparing the next generation of workers. This article discusses the efforts of Greentree Health Science Academy in addressing the need to develop the next generation of health care professionals. In collaboration with Middletown Regional Hospital in Middletown, Ohio, the academy is helping students in southwest Ohio take advantage of the abundance of career opportunities for well-trained health care workers. The academy offers CTE programs that are envisioning opportunities for the young, care for the elderly, and a more hopeful future for all members of the community. (Contains 3 online resources.)
