Abstract | A survey of 140 parents and 323 teachers about careers in science and engineering for students with learning disabilities (LD) found that parents think teachers do not make enough accommodations and employers are reluctant to hire persons with LD. Both groups felt students with LD were not encouraged to take science and engineering courses. (Contains 18 references.) (SK) |
