Abstract | DOTS (decision learning, opportunity awareness, transitions learning, and self-awareness) analysis has dominated the rationale of guidance counselors and career educators. This article describes practical implications for more progressive career learning that establishes a viable base for both choice and change of mind. The new-DOTS re-conceptualization is termed "career-learning space," and determines effectiveness by transferable outcomes. (Author/JDM) |
