Abstract | Peer review is one alternative for improving teacher evaluation and educational outcomes, offering teacher unions an expanded role in assuring teaching quality. It raises many issues for teachers and unions which need resolution if this shift in the authority relationship among teachers and between teachers and administrators is to be widely adopted. The paper examines ways to resolve various issues. (SM) |
