Abstract | Describes a self-regulating teaching model approach designed to help teachers improve minority students' self-esteem by fostering their strengths instead of emphasizing their limitations. Concludes that this teaching process will allow teachers to approach minority students as challenges and will sustain a sense of direction in their teaching. (16 references) (CK) |
