Abstract | Finds that talk radio listeners (as compared to non-listeners) are younger, have greater feelings of political self-efficacy, are more politically active, and are more likely to read newspapers. Finds that talk radio is also associated with negative political factors such as cynicism about government and lower perceptions of government's responsiveness to citizen needs. (SR) |
