Abstract | Describes the benefits of minority faculty at community colleges for minority and majority students and other faculty members. Discusses methods for recruiting and retaining minority faculty, from setting a commitment at the highest levels of the college, to broadening the recruitment base and maintaining a supportive environment to ensure retention.
