Abstract | A telephone survey of 241 physicians about responses to surveys indicated that adding physician investigator telephone contact improved survey responses from 66 percent to 92 percent, the 172 early and 69 late responders differed concerning substantive answers, and higher response rates have little impact on results of physician surveys.
