Abstract | Describes a study of community college students' instructor ratings to determine the effects of anonymity and anticipated grades. Anonymous ratings were lower than signed ratings. Students who were told their true grades or inflated grades gave higher ratings than students who had deflated grade or no grade expectations. Discusses implications for grading policy. (DMM) |
