Abstract | This study examined how videotaped microteaching for training student teachers affected the conduct of an English-as-a-Second-Language lesson, noting how faithfully student teachers transferred teaching behaviors acquired via videotaped microteaching to the classroom. Three student teachers in a bilingual education program participated. Results indicate that classroom context is critical. (SM) |
