Abstract | Examined if level of acculturation and counseling style would effect Hispanic students' (N=94) perceptions of and willingness to see a counselor. Found acculturation significantly affected ratings of trustworthiness and counselor understanding; counseling style affected perceptions of counselor and willingness to see counselor. Found participant gender affected perceptions of counselor attractiveness. (Author/CM) |
