AbstractAnalysis of eight speech and language Individualized Education Program conferences revealed that the most discussed topic was student performance and the least discussed topic was parent responsibilities. Communicative interaction was predominantly one-way, with clinicians giving information to relatively passive parents and classroom teachers. Parents held generally positive opinions about the conferences. (Author/CB)
