Abstract | The study examined the communicative interactions between a classroom teacher and four learning-handicapped junior high school females. Results suggested interactions were dominated by the teacher and students' utterances were almost exclusively brief responses to the teacher. Higher functioning students were more likely to initiate communication and use longer utterances. (Author/DB) |
