Abstract | Assessed derived identity and depression in adult women (N=564) classified into six marital-employment groups. Married women reported more derived identity and depression than similarly aged single women. Employment was related to autonomy. No difference in depression by employment groups was found. Derived identity and depression were correlated within sample and groups. (Author/BL) |
