Abstract | Adopting the demographer's cohort-component projection model, this study examines migration patterns for six cities. The results show that White and Black lifecourse migration patterns have become more alike in the post-1970 period; yet, significant racial disparities still exist. Thus, recent migration patterns do not imply eventual metropolitan wide racial integration. (RDN) |
