Abstract | A study examined the effects of the student teaching experience on the pupil control ideologies of student teachers and attempted to assess the contributions of biography and social structure. Results indicated that cooperating teachers exerted little influence, but that biography and social structure played an important role in the socialization of student teachers. (JN) |
