Abstract | Relationship between education and political party preference is examined for non-Southern males and females using retrospective data from a national sample of high school students followed up in 1970 at age 30. Effect of social class background on partisan loyalties appears to decrease in proportion to the number of years of higher education obtained by respondents. (Author/AV) |
