Abstract | Describes a multivariate model of high school to college transition and college attainment. Asserts that enrollment in a high status secondary school enhanced, for males, the likelihood of enrolling in an academically select college. States that college selectivity had no effect on females' educational attainment, but seemed to increase males' attainment levels. (Author/GC) |
