Abstract | Reports that a study by the author indicates that activity-oriented science significantly improved children's attitudes towards science and school. 154 second, third, and fourth grade students from a lower socioeconomic school were administered questionnaires before and after implementation of activity-oriented science materials. Analysis of data by grade is discussed. (CS) |
