AbstractThe aim of this study is to examine the relationship between secondary school students' visual creativity in art and their attitudes towards graphic design. The relational research model, one of the quantitative research designs, was used in the study. Two different data collection tools were used to obtain data. In the study, "visual creativity scale in art" and "attitude scale towards graphic design" were used to examine the relationship between the two variables. The study group consists of 248 students studying Visual Arts in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades. The data obtained in the study are presented in line with the research problem. When the findings were examined, it was seen that secondary school students' visual creativity in art and their attitudes towards graphic design were at a moderate level. While the participants' visual creativity in art and their attitudes towards graphic design did not differ according to gender and school type, significant differences were found according to grade level. On the other hand, it was determined that there was a positive, high-level relationship between the visual creativity of secondary school students in art and their attitudes towards graphic design, and this relationship was at a significant level. In order to determine the predictive level of this relationship, a regression analysis was performed by assigning visual creativity in art as an independent variable and attitudes towards graphic design as the dependent variable. As a result, it was found that the level of visual creativity in art significantly predicted attitudes towards graphic design. (As Provided).
