AbstractThis special issue of "Research in the Schools" ("RITS") was developed by three incredible editors: Elena Forzani, Sandra Schamroth Abrams, and Tony Onwuegbuzie. Each of these editors brought her or his own experiences with writing, publishing, and reviewer/editorial work to the work of putting together this special issue. Most importantly, these editors brought their own thoughts, biases, and beliefs about what makes a methodologist and why methodologists are needed. In order to understand better their experience of putting together the special issue, these editors participated in debriefing interviews (Collins et al., 2013). The purpose of this manuscript is to present the results from the interviews from the perspective of the debriefer/interviewer. (As Provided).
