Abstract | This paper is a close examination of postcolonial and postmodern 20th century discourse with reference to Obama's "Dreams from My Father" (1995). Barack Hussein Obama (1961-present) has a colonial experience and double cultural background which formulate his views of racial discrimination, make him accept racial differences and dream of uniting the divided colors one day. The study focuses on his autobiographical narrative within the framework of post-colonialism and postmodernism. (As Provided). |
