Abstract | Through the conceptual framework of Cross-boundary leadership, this case study examines the influence of EDLE 6633 School/Community Collaboration, a doctoral course at Oklahoma State University, on course completer's capacity to effectively facilitate and sustain collaborative partnerships between schools and communities. Findings suggest that the course prepared educational leaders to lead from the perspectives of shared influence and shared responsibility; however, evidence also suggests modification to the existing course to more fully meet education goals.
