Abstract | "Parrhesia" is a certain form of honest and open discourse. Its representative is the one who takes the risk of telling the truth and preaching honesty, regardless of meeting severe consequences. The first section of the following paper presents--on the basis of a set of philosophical works--certain requirements to be met, in order to claim the truth. Part two deals with study results regarding teachers' attitudes toward "parrhesia", confronted with the reality of Polish school system. (As Provided). |
