AbstractGlobalization imposes certain inescapable requirements on a university's curriculum. One such requirement is the elasticity of the curriculum to sustain local demands and accommodate global concerns. Using the ex post facto design, this paper examines the impact of global collaboration on the curriculum characteristics of selected universities in south-south Nigeria. Data were collected through questionnaires. Four hundred and ninety-six (496) respondents participated in the study. Three hypotheses were postulated and tested using the Pearson product moment correlation coefficient. The analysis indicated a significant positive relationship between global collaboration and internationalization of the curriculum, as well as between global collaboration and responsiveness of the curriculum to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). (As Provided).
