Abstract | This paper explores the relationship between the organizational behavior concept of job satisfaction and student satisfaction with college courses. It reports on a survey of 560 students on attitudes related to aspects of college courses including views on faculty, interaction and communication, the course, the physical learning environment, and college facilities and services. In post-secondary education, student satisfaction is both an outcome of the learning process as well as a requirement for successful learning. Student satisfaction is linked to improved academic performance, continued learning (Sloan, n.d.), the decision to take additional classes (Booker & Rebmon, 2005) and the recruitment of future students.
