AbstractWith a classroom full of millennial learners, it is essential that teacher educators adjust their pedagogy to meet their students' needs. This study explores the use of a flipped classroom model to engage preservice teachers in an Introduction to the Teaching Profession course. In addition, it explores the need for teacher education coursework to model innovative teaching strategies, such as flipped classrooms, in an effort to prepare preservice teachers for future students. Results indicated that students displayed a higher level of reflection and inquiry in their coursework and a greater number of instructional strategies were modelled within the course. (As Provided).
