Abstract | The literature describes various approaches that community colleges use to achieve institutional effectiveness; however there is no information about how Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) go about this process. The purpose of this article is to review some principles and processes of accountability and to describe the strategic review and planning process undertaken by one HSI. The article concludes with "lessons learned" that may be helpful to other HSIs as they undertake strategic review and planning. (As Provided). |
