Abstract	Lakeview Schools and the Art Center of Battle Creek, both located in Michigan, have worked together on several beneficial projects. This partnership has resulted in the sharing of valuable material and human resources. In addition, the use of innovative technology has provided a meaningful learning experience for the entire community. As the Lakeview District Librarian, Margaret Lincoln describes how her high school library participated in one of several Battle Creek Art Center exhibitions in May 2012. This exhibition, "Unity in Diversity: The Heartbeat and Ties of Many Cultures," provided museum-quality displays highlighting the artwork, cultural practices, pride, and uniqueness of nine cultures in Battle Creek: African American; Burmese; European American; Indian; Judaic; Japanese; Korean; Latino/Hispanic; and Native American. Artifacts contributed by representatives from these cultures were on exhibit and were supplemented by items from the Art Center's permanent collection. As the Lakeview District Librarian, Lincoln took responsibility for collecting representative items from members of Battle Creek's Jewish community. She created informational text cards for each item, and assisted in curating this portion of the exhibit. Direct involvement in the design of the Judaic portion of "Unity in Diversity" offered the chance to creatively infuse some 21st-century technology into this cultural heritage exhibit. Many of the informational text cards contained embedded Quick Response (QR) codes to connect exhibit viewers via their smart phones to supplemental material about a topic. She also prepared a single page (double-sided) booklet giving an overview of the Judaic portion of the exhibit with thumbnail images from eight thematic sections grouping the artifacts and a listing of recommended online resources. In the remainder of the article, Lincoln describes some of the feedback she received about the Judaic portion of the exhibit and provides a list of sample resources to assist colleagues in undertaking similar endeavors.
