Abstract | Four basic assumptions of IQ tests - age constancy, scholastic validity, standard environment and performance suggiciency are alien to Piaget's theory. Heredity cannot be statistically separated from environment; therefore, Piagetian theory would suggest the nature-nurture controversy is devoid of meaning. (ST) |
