Abstract | Data indicated that students high in English-language proficiency also tend to receive high behavioral ratings from their teachers. The opposite was true for those low in English-language proficiency. Further research is needed to isolate teacher bias in order to determine whether this factor has undue influence on teachers' behavioral ratings of young Mexican-American children. (Author) |
