Abstract | Describes the new Bachelor in General Studies (B.G.S.) degree program alternative offered by the College of Literature, Science, and Arts at the University of Michigan. Compares the level of aptitudes, achievements, and interests of students in the B.G.S. program to those of students in the traditional bachelors program. Provides the results of evaluations of the achievement of students in the two programs. (JH) |
