AbstractTrainer perceptions of computer self-efficacy, technology usefulness, and ease of use affect their ability to deliver hybrid training programs. Certain industries have training requirements mandated by government regulatory agencies. The ability to meet these requirements is critical to protecting public safety and ensuring business continuity. The purpose of this study was to explore if relationships exist between trainers' perceptions and their ability to meet training mandates. Survey responses from 137 trainers provided insight into these relationships. Interviews were also conducted with 12 trainers to identify and explore other potential moderating factors. Analysis results demonstrated no relationship between perceptions of computer self-efficacy and training completion timeliness. Perceptions of technology ease of use and usefulness demonstrated a minor effect on training completion timeliness. Additional moderating factors were identified which provide deeper insight into training compliance and present opportunities for further research.
