Abstract | The "Budget of the United States Government, Fiscal Year 2022" contains the Budget Message of the President, information on the President's priorities, and summary tables. The Budget includes two historic plans the President has already put forward--the American Jobs Plan and the American Families Plan--and outlines a package of discretionary proposals to help restore core functions of Government and reinvest in the foundations of the Nation's strength. It also calls on the Congress to reduce prescription drug costs and expand and improve health coverage. This year's Budget gives a full accounting of the first, critical steps the Nation must take to begin the work of building back better. [For the 2021 Budget, see ED605077.] (ERIC). |
