Abstract | This edition of "WICHE Insights" explores federal U.S. Department of Education Title III funding, which is used to enhance institutional capacity and educational opportunities for American Indian/Alaska Native and low-income students through the lens of the legislation's permissible activities, key themes across all projects; and dollars spent across each legislatively allowable activity. This "WICHE Insights" is part of WICHE's Native-Serving Institutions Initiative, which is committed to supporting American Indian/Alaska Native student educational attainment in higher education by working in partnership with two- and four-year institutions, tribal colleges and universities, tribal education offices, higher education organizations an state and federal policymakers to strengthen practices and policies that lead to successful outcomes of AI/AN students.
