AbstractThe Indiana Commission for Higher Education's College Readiness Reports are designed to provide information on students entering college. The reports encompass the first year of college for students who graduated from high school during the previous academic year, and the College Readiness dashboard provides a closer look at longer-term outcomes such as early college success and completion. Key takeaways from this report include the following: (1) High school courses matter; (2) More students are earning college credit in high school; (3) College is not just about bachelor's degrees; (4) Fewer students need remediation; (5) Racial and ethnic gaps remain; (6) 21st Century Scholars are completing more credits; and (7) More detailed information is available online.
