Abstract	Research has shown that job satisfaction plays a significant role in organizational commitment, productivity, and employees' intention to leave. The purpose of this quantitative study was to examine the factors that influence the job satisfaction among faculty members at Education Department in King Saud University. A multiple regression analysis was utilized to explore those factors. The results showed that the participants were most satisfied with the work itself factor, and participants were less satisfied with the satisfaction with benefits factor. The results also found that the work itself factor was only the strong predictor of the job satisfaction. Also, the results showed that the work itself, professional growth opportunities, recognition, and relationship with co-workers were the factors that correlated positively with the job satisfaction. In addition, the t-test results showed that there were no significant gender differences in job satisfaction in the six variables that were suggested to influence job satisfaction.
