Abstract | This report examines teachers' self-assessed preparedness to teach physics, their membership in professional organizations, and where they turn for help when they have questions. Almost every teacher reports feeling at least adequately prepared to teach basic physics knowledge and the application of physics to everyday experience. The smallest group--about seven teachers in ten--reports feeling at least adequately prepared to teach recent developments in physics. (ERIC). |
