Abstract | The "Setting the scene" deliverable of the QMPP project (www.qmpp.net) has been authored by Mr. Ari-Matti Auvinen (HCI Productions Oy) and many QMPP project partners. In addition to the definition of the scope of the project, it includes also a good list of references to the literature of user-generated content as well as good web links to interesting web communities. The eight cases show also the power of user-generated content in the VET area. Case study information is provided in an annex. (Contains 82 footnotes, 3 tables, and a list of 11 Internet resources.) [This work has been authored with contributions of: Ulf-Daniel Ehlers; Kristiina Jokelainen; David Riley; Jose Pinzon; Thomas Fischer; Thomas Kretschmer; Walter Kugemann; Michela Moretti; and Laura Fedeli.
