Abstract	The case study describes the early stages of building and using a learning management system (LMS) to aid in the productivity of an education faculty unit. Little to no research exists regarding teacher education units using LMSs to create an online web group for work purposes. The literature review preceding the case study illuminated some of the variables impacting such an endeavor in analogous ways. Study results reveal the pros and cons of using LMS's by stakeholders for unit work. The lead investigator provided unit faculty with a two question, open ended survey regarding the initial use of the LMS web group and those results are shared. Recommendations for additional implementations and further study are then provided. (Author).
