Abstract | The report, written in French, presents the results of a study on the ethno-linguistic identity of students aged 16 years or older attending French language secondary schools in Ontario. Goals of the questionnaire study included the following: (1) gathering demographics on students about to graduate from high school, regarding their gender, socio-economic status, mother tongue, second or third language, and parents' and grandparents' mother tongue; (2) determining to which degree students identify themselves as francophone and to which extent bilingualism is part of their identity, what importance they attach to language and culture, how heterogeneous or homogeneous their environment is, how they perceive their language abilities, and the quantity and quality of their contacts with French-speaking groups; and (3) determining their communities' everyday language patterns.
