Abstract	This manual is designed to support teachers in implementing the instructional resource guides "Instructional Materials about Japan." The materials in this guide provide the basis for a full-day inservice training session. The suggested format can be modified to meet the needs of individual workshop leaders, various audiences, and different time frames. All materials needed to conduct the workshop are included with a detailed agenda, introductory activities, information on the instructional units, support materials, and discussion on planning and implementing local workshops.
