Abstract	This study ascertained the extent to which the objectives of the 1986 National Conference on Teacher Education in Ghana were achieved. A total of 111 people registered for the conference, 80 actively participated, and 52 completed a conference evaluation. The evaluation examined the timing of the conference, facilities provided, papers read, and the extent to which the end-of-conference resolutions were implemented. Chapter 1, "Introduction," provides background information on the conference, states the purpose of the study, describes the participants, discusses how the study sample was chosen, and explains the study instrument. Chapter 2, "The Statement and Discussion of Results," describes the data collected and how they were analyzed. Chapter 3, "Implementation of End-of-Conference Resolutions," analyzes the extent to which the resolutions were implemented. Chapter 4, "Summary and Suggestions," presents conclusions and recommendations. Overall, the conference was well-attended; participants liked the facilities, activities, and accommodations; and respondents considered all 30 lead papers relevant to the theme of the conference. The four appendixes offer: the welcome address; a summary of the main points in the papers presented; the conference evaluation instrument; and the end-of-conference resolution. (SM)
