AbstractThis document reports the outcomes of a project that was conducted for the following purposes: provide statewide equity staff development workshops for Wisconsin technical college staff, school-to-work personnel, K-12 teachers, and persons who work in state agencies and community-based organizations; establish a task force and facilitate development of 5-10 equity learning projects; and organize and facilitate a vocational equity learning project training workshop. Appendixes constituting more than 90% of this document contain the following: materials from and about the equity staff development workshops (the fall and spring meeting agendas and membership list of the Wisconsin vocational equity leadership cadre and the Visions workshop meeting announcement, brochure, agenda, participants' list, and evaluation form); evaluation model for equity and diversity (equity and diversity self-study evaluation report; guidelines for evaluating an educational climate to ensure the equitable treatment of all individuals regardless of their gender, ethnic group, race, and/or disability; suggested documentation to be available for a review team; and definitions); and Wisconsin Technical College System "Creating an Inclusive Educational Environment" curriculum.
